Today happens to be the start of my 6th year in this island ! Can you believe five years have passed since that day when i left, all moist eyed and nervous, definitely a 20-25 kilograms lighter, innocent and vulnerable, with dreams of a brilliant future and fantastic tommorrow - one that is in the full sense of the expression, yet to come! Don't want to bore by narrating random incidents .. plus have a movie showing parallelly .. so laterz ..

Youre a very mellow, care-free person. You exactly what calm, cool, and collected mean. You never overreact or panic in a bad situation and you always know what to do. Everyone goes to you for advice because you never lose your head so your very reliable. You tend to take everything in stride, like in school your moto is just sit back and relax not to say you dont pay attention and work, but you dont overexert yourself. Even though people come to you for counciling(sp?) you can still be very quite, your not good with making new friends, but your extremely close to the ones you have. Remember its ok to put your emotions out there even though there is a chance they might get hurt. Also in school sometimes its good to stress out a little, just because you think you dont need to study doesnt mean you shouldnt, and also try to push yourself more even though you might be good where you are doesnt mean you cant be better.

the title pretty much says it all ... last couple of days, have done nothing more worthwhile, project's taken a back seat thanks to odd sleeping routines, countless movies, IM sessions, gossip with girlfriends and did I mention, the wow-o-wow Holiday sales - yup, have been shopping like crazy - actually found a couple of places which had my sizes, so yay! but then still sucks cos havent found the best of stuff, sigh ... but yeah found nice shoes (which fit me only at sometimes of the day - depending on how swollen my leg after the hard day's work sitting in front of the computer ;) ) ... Xmas sales are lovely - though Robinsons is still crazy expensive .. wondering if I shd go ahead and get that xpensive black dress I am dying to own, or is it just one more of my fancies - I want it only as long as I cant have it - stories .. yup that happens a lot to me .. keep wanting things, the minute i get it, its all mebbe i dint want it so much, right now i dont think it'd be very wise of me to go buy smth worth a fortune! hmmm .. * contemplating* ... may be it'd b more worthwhile to get hold of a couple of nice shirts to match my pants ... hmmm .. sounds better eh? besides the shopping - wat to buy what not to buy state of mind, I have been watching crazy loadsa movies - mentioning it again, in case u missed this one in the beginning - watched the Italian Job yday for the millionth time i think, but wow... i love that movie! it has dawnd on me finally, that next week is the due date for my report and assignment for the project - so oh bloody hell, i better get working on that! phew phew ... just heard that gd ol' fren Kris not doing so well - he's taking a break i hear .. my heeart really goes out to him, feel bad but again, he kinda always asks for it - so ... *shrug and sigh* ... the week now on will be a busy one mostly involving a lot of research papers and crazy loadsa work! yup you heard me =) so long then!

ThE FiNaL VeRDicT!

yoz! the long awaited results of my disastrous semester are out .. not as tragic as i had expected, but somehow leaves me with this could-have-been-better feeling .. though, im not complaining, the fact that it cud have been far worse makes me shudder .. just Thank God i managed to scrape thru those"oh so terrible" papers .. phew! the results being made available slightly earlier than the scheduled date left me a bit numb, but yay! im glad its over. now i cant wait to hear details on my internship which i plan to start in the new year =)

the last couple of days have been chilled - have been whiling away time doing nothing ... though i have tonsa random things to do, a final submission due by the end of the month, wanna finish it off in time, so that i can have a blast during the Xmas - New Year week ;) No plans as yet though ..

watched Ocean's twelve .. pretty decent stuff - though i was in one miserable mood that day, was in the total party pooper mood .. din even hang out and chill with my gang after the movie, just headed straight back to my dorm .. ouch! (uh - thats sooo not my usual self!) ... they say an empty mind's a devil's workshop ... for me the devil is Depression - with nothing big on hands i end up having so much time to brood over everything that has ever gone wrong .. leaves me all blue and upset !

was checking out apparel stores in the city malls looking for some good stuff to wear to my internship .. everything that fits me is so darn expensive! damn ! brings me back to my favorite subject - clothes and small sized ill-fitting clothes in this place ... why can't they have generously bigger sizes for ppl like me *blush* ... anywayz think i'll end up burning a hole in my pocket, but will spulrge a bit and go ahead and buy that meroon - black suit i loved at Robinsons ! =)

well well thats about all for now ... beginning to rain as always here .. so i'm off to my blues again ;) ciaoz ...

havent done anything of good use or fun in the last two weeks now. random committee meetings, useless discussions besides a lot of sleeping. thats all i have been upto of late. too bored to talk about it really. my project work hasnt made much progress either. have been watching soaps and serials. now almost done with tht too. so back to nothing to do. though i have my first report submission end of this week. this week is full of activity actually. 2 presentations, couple of committee meetings, music jam session and a weekend full of tech events. sounds boring, but will keep me occupied for the week i guess. phew. now goin to get started with my project work, gonna do some major reading up, wot say?
