Best Friend

• When I was in Class 1, my best friend was the one who'd give me a pretty pink barbie doll for my birthday
• When I was in Class 3, my best friend was the one who sat next to me in class, telling me about homework when I missed class
• When I was in Class 5, my best friend was the one who'd reserve a seat for me on the school bus, and share lunch with me everyday
• When I was in Class 7, my best friend was the one who would call home immediately when I didn't show up in class for a day without notice
• When I was in Class 9, my best friend was the one who'd cover up for me when i got into trouble, stand up for me even in my absence
• When I was in Class 10, my best friend was the one who'd know everything about me - all the secret crushes, heart breaks and we spent each day together
• When I was in college, my best friend was the one who'd relate most to whats going on with me, the one who'd listen and tell me what to do when I went for advice
• Now, when I am in University, my best friend is someone whom I haven't seen in a few years, and yet we're just so close. Everytime we meet it's as if we were always together. As if all those years never happened.
